Lakeview’s burger of the month is the Stuffed Cheddar burger that’s made of two grass-fed beef patties that are stuffed with cheddar cheese and is topped with Spanish onion, brown mustard and ketchup for $10.
Lakeview also has a new sweet creation: the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shake! It’s made with Petersen’s strawberry ice cream, chocolate sauce, strawberry puree and is topped with a chocolate covered strawberry. As part of its 365 Days of Giving Program, Lakeview will be selling the shake for $5 from February 23-29th. All proceeds from shake sales will benefit the Heartland Alliance’s Transitional Living Program (TLP) for Chicago’s youth. TLP is a 10-bed facility available for homeless people ages 18-21 that receive services such as life skills, job development and counseling.
Lombard Launches Uniform Wednesday!
It’s hard to imagine living in a community without doctors, fire fighters, policemen, or even mail carriers. That’s why DMK Lomabard wants to thank those who have given so much through Uniform Wednesdays. Every Wednesday, guests who come into the restaurant wearing their work uniforms receive 25% off of their bill, including eats for up to three guests, prior to 6:00 p.m. Additionally, anyone who recently served or currently serves in the military will dine for free with valid identification.

It works like a Jewel, CVS or Binny’s card, but it’s way better! Every dollar spent gives diners a point. People can also choose to put money onto the card like a gift card. The more points accumulated, the cooler the prizes are that guests can win. Instead of getting a lame coupon or a free roll of toilet paper for spending like you would at other places, the Frequent Fryers card gives badass gifts.
